Copley’s Dreamer

A subtle surreal piece, based upon John Singleton Copley’s work ‘Boy with Squirrel’. This work incorporates a balance between representation and deviations from the original, derived from a subtle daydream essence, infused with previous techniques picked up from earlier renditions of Caravaggio’s ‘Boy with Ram’, this work is intended to be warm and sensuous.
