Description

Spider Gnome backed into a corner, annoyed.  This image was part of a series of drawings which were often related by the presence of wall electrical sockets.  As I spent a great deal of time alone in a basement level apartment at that time, with a mattress on the floor, these sockets provided character to the mental environment.  Perhaps due to their dynamic potential as electrical pathways, and partially due to their ability to activate facial recognition software in the brain, they seemed to have more presence than the carpet or walls themselves.  This somewhat illustrated in the drawing by one of the sockets appearing to smile, and the other to express what looks like worry or unhappiness.
