The Occultist

This work features a young boy wrapped in a cocoon of psychological darkness and disturbance.  He stands averted to the viewer, in the middle of a crude western occult spirit summoning circle.  Surrounding the boundary of his circle are psychological entities.  The scene is set in a black desert southwestern dusk.  An eerie silhouette of a parrot drifts overhead.
